We are looking for a highly skilled Motion Graphics Artist to join our dynamic team, specializing in 2D and 3D animation. This role requires a versatile designer who can create engaging visual content for different platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong design background, be well-versed in industry trends, and be able to bring stories to life through animation, enhancing our digital storytelling. Knowledge of techniques for animation and content optimization is essential to keep us at the forefront of innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute 2D and 3D motion graphics for news packages, promotional content, and social media videos, ensuring they align with the brand’s visual identity and editorial tone.

• Create animations and visual effects that translate complex information into clear and visually appealing graphics for use in breaking news, documentaries, and online platforms.

• Utilize AI tools to enhance animation workflows, streamline production processes, and generate creative content, ensuring efficiency and innovation in our output.

• Collaborate closely with producers, editors, and creative leads to conceptualize and deliver high-impact visuals that support news content and engage our audience.

• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging animation techniques, AI advancements, and software developments to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

• Work efficiently under tight deadlines, adapting to last-minute changes to deliver polished graphics for live broadcasts and social media posts.

• Ensure consistency and quality across all motion graphic content, maintaining high standards of creativity and visual storytelling.

• Support the creative team with design expertise, providing input and feedback on style frames, storyboards, and animation sequences.

Key Skills, Experience and Educational

• Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• 3 years’ experience as a Motion Graphics Artist, preferably in a news or media environment.

• Proven professional track record with 3+ years knowledge of general practices and procedures of motion graphic design and animation. (Showreel required).

• Proficiency in animation software, including Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, and/or Blender, with a solid understanding of 3D workflows.

• Strong design skills with an eye for composition, typography, and colour theory, ensuring that all visual elements are aesthetically aligned.

• Strong artistic sense. Works well under pressure. Team player. Creative. Problem solving skills.

• Experience with Unreal Engine or real-time rendering tools.

• Knowledge of AR/VR applications in storytelling and content creation.

• Understanding of AI-driven analytics to measure engagement and optimize visual content for social media platforms.

• Fluent in both written and spoken English, Arabic is a plus.
