Job Description
The Designer will be responsible for the output of one of 3 areas within the design department of Sky News Arabia; Broadcast Design, 3D, and Digital. They will work in a team under the direction of the Senior Designers and Head of Creative. These are hands on creative positions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Working closely with other designers to resource the Design output for Sky News Arabia.
  • Creating motion graphics, animation sequences or digital design and Brand collateral.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of quality for the channel's content and style.
  • Communicating effectively with all other output areas.
Key Skills, Experience and Educational
  • Bachelor degree in Graphic design, Visual Communication or similar relevant experience.
  • 3+ years experience in a large national or international broadcast news channel is a plus.
  • Proven professional track record with 3+ years knowledge of general practices and procedures of Graphic Design and on-air graphics.
  • Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and Digital.
  • Expert in: Photoshop, Illustrator or any relevant design software.
  • Excellent eye for detail.
  • Good Knowledge in software skills in relevant field: After Effects, Viz, 3D platforms, etc…
  • Fluent in both written and spoken Arabic and English.
  • Strong artistic sense. Works well under pressure. Team player. Creative. Problem solving skills.
