Job Description
Designers will be responsible for the output of one of 3 areas within the design department of Sky News Arabia; Broadcast Design, 3D, and Digital. They will work in  a team under the direction of the Senior Designers and Head of Design. These are hands on creative positions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Working closely with other designers to resource the Design output for Sky News Arabia.
  • Creating motion graphics, 3D sequences or digital design.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of quality for the channel's content and style.
  • Communicating effectively with all other output areas.
Key Skills, Experience and Educational
  • Experience of design or 3D generation in a broadcast environment
  • Excellent level of skill within field of Design, 3D, Digital output
  • Previous experience in a large national or international broadcast news channel.
  • Good knowledge of broadcast technology
  • Excellent software skills in relevant field; Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, 3D (Xsi, Maya, Cinema 4D), Viz Chyron, Editing software
  • Fluent in both written and spoken Arabic and English
  • Minimum of 2years experience at this level
  • BA in relevant creative field (Design, animation, 3D, film/promo, directing, digital output), or similar relevant experience.
