Job Description
Designers will be responsible for the output of one of 3 areas within the design department of Sky News Arabia; Broadcast Design, 3D, and Digital. They will work in a team under the direction of the Senior Designers and Head of Creative. These are hands on creative positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with other designers to resource the Design output for Sky News Arabia.
- Creating motion graphics, animation sequences or digital design.
- Ensuring the highest standards of quality for the channel's content and style.
- Communicating effectively with all other output areas.
Key Skills, Experience and Educational
- Bachelor degree in Graphic design, Visual Communication or similar relevant experience.
- 4+ years experience in a large national or international broadcast news channel is a plus.
- Proven professional track record with 4+ years knowledge of general practices and procedures of Graphic Design and on-air graphics. (showreel required).
- Expert in: Photoshop, Illustrator or any relevant design software.
- Good Knowledge in software skills in relevant field: After Effects, Viz, 3D platforms, etc...
- Fluent in both written and spoken Arabic and English
- Strong artistic sense, works well under pressure, team player, creative, problem solving skills.
