Job Description: The role of an Unreal Artist is to create cutting-edge cinematic storytelling scenes, AR/VR and motion graphics close to realistic output in coordination with branding and on-air graphics content for Sky News Arabia. Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and Develop Cinematic AR/VR stories with storyboards for the SKY NEWS ARABIA
  • Create and develop High quality environments, props, 3d models and set for variety of locations and scenarios
  • Strong artistic ability to visualize entire AR/VR story
  • Willingness to share knowledge
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work within a team required.
  • Excellent skills in task management and prioritization required.
  • Creating 3d library for daily work and custom normal workflow
  • Support VIZRT Designers with 3d models and environment by baking low-poly models
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative and establish processes required.
  • Work closely with the Senior Members of the team to develop ideas, execution, and rendering of complex scenes and animation sequences.
Key Skills, Experience and Educational:
  • Bachelor degree in computer science or any degree related to ART or broadcast.
  • 5 years’ experience in 3D Modelling and environment creation.
  • Minimum 3-years’ experience with AR/VR and Unreal Engine.
  • Strong polygonal modelling skills-able to generate clean and efficient models in a fast pace.
  • Create a custom workflow for baking models from high to low poly.
  • Working knowledge of the content creation tools and processes involved in real-time 3D asset production.
  • Excellent skills in creating props, architecture, surface, 3d models, textures, materials, camera animation and lighting.
  • Extensive knowledge in (ADOBE, 3D softwares, Substance, Zbrush, Quixel etc) ZERO density VizRT is a plus.
  • Extensive experience with unreal 4 sequencer/blueprints/cascade etc.
  • Strong sense of composition, colour, and skilled in creating mood and atmosphere.
  • Knowledgeable in using market place.
  • Understating Unreal 4 rendering pipeline and to create cinematic look with it.
  • Redshift, Octane, Arnold render software and knowledge of render farms is required.
  • Strong understanding of efficient UV layout for low poly objects.
  • Understand the cutting edge technology, tools and have an in-depth knowledge of production process for broadcast/digital industry.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines while maintaining high visual quality.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven professional track record with 3+ year’s knowledge of general practices.
  • Create realistic PBR Textures & Shaders, clean object topology.
  • Rigging, scripting, motion capture is a plus in Maya or other software.
  • Coaching, mentoring and showing proactivity and interacting with other colleges and other departments to solve problems and improve workflow.
  • Self-motivated with positive can-do attitude.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English, Arabic is a plus.
