Job Description

The role of a 2D/3D Artist is to create cutting-edge animations and motion graphics in coordination with branding and on-air graphics content for Sky News Arabia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop storyboards and be happy to take direction from the Senior Designers and the Head of Creative.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work within a team required.
  • Excellent skills in task management and prioritization required.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative and establish processes required.
  • Work closely with the art and promo departments to develop ideas, execution, and rendering of complex motion graphic and animation sequences.
Key Skills, Experience and Educational
  • Bachelor degree in computer science or any degree related to animation and motion graphics.
  • 3 years experience in animation and motion graphics.
  • Proven professional track record with 3+ years knowledge of general practices and procedures of motion graphic design and animation.
  • 3D MAX / C4D / Maya: Exceptional modelling skills of high detailed & realistic elements, advanced level of knowledge in texturing, shading and lighting , strong knowledge in dynamics.
  • Adobe After Effects: Very strong abilities to create 2D motion graphics and compose 3d passes and/or live shooting.
  • Familiar with most common plugins.
  • Adobe Illustrator: ability to deal with vector files.
  • Adobe Photoshop: strong abilities to manage image processing.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English, Arabic is a plus.
  • Strong artistic sense. Works well under pressure. Team player. Creative. Problem solving skills.
