Job Description: Under the direction of a Studio Director and the Floor Manager, the Scenehand's responsibility is to assist and execute all the tasks requested, and to make sure that the operation in the studio is on time and successful. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the correct and safe settings of shows.
• Report to the Floor Manager for the ordering of general sundries in order to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the studios.
• Prepare the studio before the start of news or program from cameras and decorations and ensure lighting is working properly.
• Prepare and maintain mics, computers and iPads, and keep them in an optimal and safe condition.
• Put mics and earpieces on presenters, print the scripts in case there is more than one studio or broadcaster, or if asked to by the Floor Manager.
• Ensure the up‐to‐date maintenance of sets by pro‐active identification and reporting of issues relating to set damage for earliest resolution by the department.
• Provide maintenance of scenery and property of the Studio.
• Act as a Floor Manager in case asked to by the Floor Manager or the Team Leader.
• Ability to work in different shift pattern that covers 24 hours rota.

Key Skills, Experience and Education:

• At least 1-year experience in a similar capacity organization required.
• Good knowledge of both written and spoken Arabic and English.
• Forward thinking and a good team player.
• Good planning and organizational skills.
• Physically fit to carry and move heavy equipment and sets.
• Skills to maintain an excellent health and safety level to everyone in the Studio and the Newsroom.
