As a News Gathering Technician, you will be required to manage the role of a studio technician and indoor/outdoor cameraman in SNA Washington Bureau.  You will also work with a variety of technologies including HD ENG news cameras, mini-cams, support the Production Engineers and Maintain all the spare parts store related to cameraman editors and Studio Equipment. You’ll manage in addition to operate news gathering bonding technologies. You will be a team member of both small and larger teams delivering world class broadcast journalism.

• Shooting HD footage to the highest standards for TV and online platform.
• Have exceptional knowledge in broadcast video and audio equipment.
• Have knowledge in connecting broadcast video and audio equipment together for an outdoor coverage.
• Essential to have understanding on several shooting techniques such as indoor and outdoor shooting, ‘shooting on the go’, interviewed based shooting.
• Operation and maintenance of studio equipment and systems.
• Helping the Cameraman to provide LIVE shots from various locations, from set up to transmission through different type of transmission technologies.
• To maintain technical and IT infrastructure of bureau operation.
• To log and archive footage appropriately.
• To Secure all the live Production from Studio and outdoor Location.
• To secure the lighting setup for indoor and outdoor Location.

• Experience in video production within one or more large TV channel.
• Experience of Adobe CC edit software.
• Experience in HD and 16.9 formats and producing videos for Social Media platform.
• Experience in HD and 16.9 formats an advantage.
• Have an ability to frame and compose shots.
• Have the capacity to multi-task and take direction from others.
• Skilled in Microsoft office and visio . , Autocad will be a plus.
• Team Player.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Fluency in Arabic and good English.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role.
