Job Description:

The ideal candidate for this role would be someone who has strong marketing acumen and passion for digital. It is a role that really allows you to tackle marketing in both traditional and non-traditional mediums.

An experienced, hands-on, well-connected marketing manager who can establish, manage and execute a successful marketing plan and continuing support of SNA.  He / She would need to manage the relationship with third party agencies and/or work with internal creative services to deliver against the above and work with the rest of the SNA Commercial team to create, adapt and develop creative solutions for key advertising partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Overall:

  • Conceive, develop and implement a multi-media communications campaign to launch and build SNA..
  • Assess, measure and track the effects of the above.
  • Ensure that all relevant audiences among consumers and trade are addressed.
  • Ensure that the marketing plans integrate seamlessly with editorial, PR and commercial objectives.
  • Revise, rethink and question received wisdom at all times.
  • Be responsible for selling the marketing plans internally.
  • Be innovative, new and effective.
  • Instigate a full end-to-end marketing review, approval and sign-off process.
  • Create, justify and manage marketing budget.
  • Demonstrate ROI in all activity at all times.

Specifically:

  • Brief, assess and manage an ad agency and media agency partner for SNA activity.
  • Write brand style guide in conjunction with SNA Creative Director.

  • Translate business & marketing objectives into regional digital strategies with clear objectives, KPIs and ensuring everything can be measured, tracked, and will optimize ROI of all campaigns and actions implemented.

  • Deliver digital and integrated marketing plans integrating all appropriate digital channels (SEO, paid search, display, affiliate networks or creation of a private network, mobile, social, and emerging channels).

  • Develop and implement brad specific profitable strategies for all major customer acquisition programs across all online channels.

  • Improve all creative testing, audience segmentation, display, bid management, SEM, campaign reporting & analysis across multiple online sources.

  • Understands social media advertising and social community management.

  • Design a brief for consumer marketing activity that has clear goals and deliverables.

  • Activities to include: TVCs, online applications, print/posters, radio advertising.

  • Design and execute: merchandise, premiums, exhibition stands, newsletters, extranets, media packs.

  • Run CRM program with clients and agencies database.

  • Build and run a viewer panel using online/ mobile applications.

  • Support ad sales with sales presentations, video, mock-ups and sponsorship ideas (with in-house creative team).
Key Skills, Experience and Education:
  • Minimum 7 years marketing experience with specific experience working in the MENA region a must.
  • Experience in account management of an ad agency an advantage.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Google analytics, Ad words, PPC, SEO and social media analytics and listening.
  • Experience in consumer rather than corporate communications is essential.
  • Experience with digital marketing including SEO, website design and optimization, e-CRM and social media essential.
  • Fluent Arabic and English Speaker.
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Motivated to deliver to deadlines.
  • Prepared to do everything and anything themselves to get the job done.
  • A team Player with understanding of editorial, PR, commercial and research imperatives.
  • Understanding of communications and proven portfolio of innovative marketing experience.
  • Ability to priorities multiple markets and activities.
  • Budget responsibility.
  • Manage key relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
